1. Put the ring in
the most bottom (deepest) part of the pre-formed pond. Use a marker to
draw two circles: one on the
>>the outside edge of the ring and
the other on the inside ring.
2. Remove the ring.
Drill and cut around the inside circle to make a hole to fit the mouth
of the Bottom Drain.
3. Place the ring
above the hole of the pond. Insert the three 1/4 PHIC screws facing
up from under the ring. Secure
>>with one nut, and put another nut
on the screw. You will use the third nut to install the cover later (see
#6).
4. Underneath the
pond, put the Bottom Drain right under the hole. Bolt the 16 Self Tapping
screws from the ring,
>>through the pond onto the Bottom
Drain.
5. Use a gasket and/or
silicone between the ring and the pond to seal tightly.
6. Before installing
the cover, adjust the second nut to leave only a little space (1/2"
more or less) this is to prevent the
....smallest fish from getting sucked into
the bottom drain. Bolt the cover with the third nut.
